Spaukas, Blood Band, 24x24 inch drum, Space Research, Semester 1

Drum oozing with fake blood created by painting on hot glue. Performance piece where someone is pouring in blood (water) which creates a pounding sound in the bottom of the drums base.

“Space Research” is a parody inspired by trailers for reality tv shows. It's supposed to make fun of how dramatic and scripted these shows are. Clips of interviews, breakdowns, fights, tears, and stressful situations acted out by my classmates.

End of the World

Zine created in Adobe Photoshop Space Research, Semester 1

Used as a prop in the final group project about the concept that a solar flare had struck in the year 2000. Inspired by the Y2K scare. Combines text and color combinations popular in the 2000's.

Philly World

Wood, spray paint and stencil, Space Research, Semester 1

Prompt for this project was to make a container for a random object. When I went to find an object I came across this record in a thrift store. It reminded me of home. I live right outside of Philadelphia and my dad and I love to go to record shops in the city with him. I took a photo of my mom and dad in photoshop then created a stencil by tracing the image on paper. I then taped around where I wanted the spray paint to show. The inside image is of my dog Rosie.
